Contributor Submission Guidelines

Who can submit Open to contributors, industry experts, researchers, and guest writers. First-time submitters are welcome. Authors must provide a brief bio (50–80 words) and a headshot or avatar. Submissions from students and emerging voices are encouraged.
Content requirements Content must be original and previously unpublished (online or in print). Pieces should align with Digivrit’s focus on digital culture, technology, creativity, and innovation. Submissions must be factually accurate with credible sources cited. No promotional or advertorial content — editorial integrity is required. AI-generated content must be disclosed and substantially edited by the author.
Word count
- Blog post: 600–1,200 words
- Feature article: 1,200–2,500 words
- Opinion / column: 400–800 words
- Issue exclusive: 1,500–3,000 words
Submit as a .docx or Google Doc with editing access enabled. Include a compelling headline and a 1–2 sentence summary. Use subheadings to break up long-form content. Images must be high resolution (min 1200px wide) with captions and source credits. Authors must provide a brief bio (50–80 words) and a headshot or avatar
Style & tone Write in a clear, engaging, and accessible tone suited for a digital-savvy audience. Use active voice and short paragraphs. Avoid excessive self-promotion; one relevant link to your work is permitted.
How to submit Email your pitch or full draft to editorial@digivrit.com with the subject line: Submission — [Your Title]. The editorial team reviews within 7–10 business days and responds with acceptance, a revision request, or a decline. Accepted pieces undergo light copy-editing; authors review the final draft before publication. Upon publication, authors retain credit; Digivrit Magazine holds first digital and print rights.
What we do not accept Content must be exclusive to Digivrit for 90 days — no duplicate or cross-posted material. We do not accept content that promotes discrimination, hate, or misinformation, paid links or undisclosed sponsored content, or submissions without author information.
